  • Responsible for all database management and administration
  • Responsible for database and data application performance monitoring, troubleshooting and tuning
  • Provides leadership for internal SQL application design, development and testing
  • Provides leadership in defining and enforcing data and database standards
  • Responsible for database testing and validation during MS patch release cycles
  • 24x7 on call production support for all database concerns
  • Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements


  • 5+ years DBA experience with MS SQL Server; at least three years in a Senior DBA role supporting internal and external data application development
  • MS SQL Server
  • MS SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports
  • VMware
  • Team Foundation Services
  • Microsoft .Net Framework and CLR objects
  • XML
  • Data encryption, including third-party products (SafeNet)
  • Job record must illustrate reasonable durations of employment 
  • Must have a high degree of initiative and self motivation
  • Ability to work with others in an enthusiastic, motivating, win-win manner
  • Ability to dedicate oneself to support the success of the enterprise
  • Ability to work independently and to lead the development staff in all database and SQL matters

  • College degree in Computer Science (BS or equivalent) with a focus on Database Management Systems
